How do I change the time and/or date on my voice mail system?
You must first determine which voice mail system you have. The
easiest way to do this is to check your invoice. If you know which voice mail system you
have, you may select it from the list below.
If you do not know which voice mail system you have, you can usually
determine that by what procedure you use to retrieve your messages remotely (away from the
office). The following list may help you determine which system you have.
Contact DK
To change the time and date on your Contact DK Voice Mail system:
Press the "Voice Mail"
button or dial the voice mail extension
Press the star button
Enter mailbox 999 (or 99
if your system uses 2-digit extensions or 9999 if you use 4 digits)
Enter administrator password. (If you do not know
password, call NOEC Tech Support)
Press 3
Press 1
Enter the current month, day, and year (mmddyy)
Enter the current time in 24-hour format (hhmm)
Press the star button
Press the star button
The time and date should now be set correctly.
Perfect Voice Answer
To change the time and date on your Perfect Voice Answer Voice Mail
system:
Press the "Voice Mail"
button or dial the voice mail extension
Press 7
Enter mailbox 900
Enter password. (If you do not know password, call
NOEC Tech Support)
Press 1 to review the current date
and time, 2 to change the time, 3 to change the date
Follow the system prompts until satisfied with the
time and date, then press 0
The time and date should now be set correctly.
Perfect Voice Compact
If your Perfect Voice Compact has a monitor and keyboard, or if you
use remote communications software, follow the procedure for Perfect
Voice Professional (formerly V-Plus).
To change the time and date on your Perfect Voice Compact Voice Mail
system:
Press the "Voice Mail"
button or dial the voice mail extension
Login to the administrator's mailbox
Press 8
Press 1 to review the current date
and time, 2 to change the time, 3 to change the date
Follow the system prompts until satisfied with the
time and date, then press 0
The time and date should now be set correctly.
Perfect Voice Professional (formerly V-Plus)
To change the time and date on your Perfect Voice Professional Voice
Mail system, go to the Voice Mail computer. During normal operation the screen
should display an MS-DOS prompt. (C:\ or D:\mesg or something similar)
- Type time then the <spacebar>
followed by the time in 24-hour format, then press <enter>.
eg. time 13:05<enter>
This will set the time to 1:05 PM.
- Type date then the <spacebar>
followed by the date in the format MM/DD/YYYY, then press <enter>.
eg. date 03/21/2000<enter>
This will set the date to March 21, 2000.
The time and date should now be set correctly.
Perfect Voice Office
This Voice Mail system runs on a Windows PC. Go to the computer and
double-click the time in the lower right corner of the screen. Change the time and date in
the Date/Time Properties box that appears, then click OK.
